New Product Competition
The UK Dairy Day 2024 New Product Competition is sponsored by IDEXX.
Entry
Online entries to the UK Dairy Day 2024 New Product Competition can be submitted for a new product or service by companies that have a trade stand booked or are sponsoring the 2024 event.
Entries will only be accepted for new products or services launched into the market between 1st August 2023 and 31st July 2024.
The online entry deadline is 31st July 2024, and more than one entry can be submitted by a business.
Entrants will be required to answer the questions on the entry form and submit a promotional video, maximum length of 2 minutes. The finalist’s videos will be shared on the UK Dairy Day website and social media platforms.
Finalists will each be given a display area located in the New Product Zone at the event.
Judging Information
All entries will be reviewed by an industry panel and the shortlisted entries will be notified if they have been successful by email before 14th August 2024.
At the event judging will take place between 9.30am and 12.00noon where the judges will review each of the display counters.
The entries will be judged across the following categories and scored;
- Entry form information supplied
- Video submitted
- Display counter in the concourse
Display Counters
The allocated display area will be 2000mm wide by 550mm deep to include a display counter. The display shell scheme counter will be 1000mm wide by 550mm deep and 2500mm high. It will feature a shelf at 854mm height position, the shelf will be 1000mm wide by 500mm deep.
The space (1000mm wide by 550mm deep) alongside the counter can be used to display a banner pull-up, product etc.
The counter will have a header board that will be pre-printed with the finalist’s company name. The rest of the counter can be branded with space 475mm wide by 854mm high available to affix poster.
Results
The results will be confirmed by 1.00pm.

- Highly Commended
- Judge's Special Mention
Award cards will be presented from 1.30pm on the relevant trade stand and a photograph taken of the presentation to be used on UK Dairy Day social media and website.
